Commercial Food Photographer | Services Tailored to My Client’s Brand

As a dedicated commercial food photographer, my mission is simple: to create vivid, authentic images that drive sales and elevate your brand’s presence across London, Rutland, Leicester and the wider East Midlands. I don’t just take pictures of food—I collaborate with chefs and business owners to craft visual stories that convey quality, texture, and atmosphere, ensuring your finished plates look irresistible online and in print.

If you want to see case study examples of the services I offer, then make sure you check out my portfolio page – they are split into categories so you’ll be sure to find what you’r looking for. For hotels needing food and beverage photography, explore my hotel food photography services.

Menu & Dish Photography: Focused on Sales & Appetite

In the competitive food market, customers eat with their eyes first—and often, it’s on social media. My menu photography service is organised specifically to overcome this challenge. I create authentic, high-impact visuals that focus on texture, steam, and vibrant colour, making every dish look irresistible. Whether you need imagery for a printed menu, social media, delivery platforms, or seasonal campaigns, my service ensures your food stands out, directly translating high-quality visual desire into increased orders and greater average customer spend.

For restaurants and hotels wanting comprehensive visual storytelling, explore my culinary photography services that capture not just finished dishes, but the complete kitchen story including chefs at work, plating techniques, and the atmosphere behind your food.

Drink & Beverage Photography: Capturing Mood and Detail

Drink photography requires meticulous attention to lighting and colour to capture the exact mood of your beverage—from the condensation on a craft beer glass to the deep amber of a cocktail. My process expertly manages these elements, ensuring sharp focus on the ingredients and garnishes while utilising natural light to convey the desired atmosphere. Whether you need vibrant, daytime imagery for soft drinks or moody, atmospheric shots for a bar menu, I provide clear, detailed visuals that entice the customer to order the perfect accompaniment to their meal.

Interiors and Premises Shots: Selling the Full Experience

Successful hospitality relies on selling an experience, not just a plate. My premises photography goes beyond generic snapshots, focusing on the lighting, colour, and design elements that make your location unique. I capture everything from welcoming interior shots and detail-orientated vignettes to authentic, behind-the-scenes images of your chefs and staff at work. These high-quality commercial food photography assets are crucial for press, website design, and social media, establishing immediate trust and convincing potential customers to choose your venue.

My Authentic Approach to Food Photography

My process is driven by the philosophy of authentic food photography: capturing the truth of your dish, not artificial perfection. This means focusing on the natural light, the genuine texture, and the atmosphere of your venue to create visuals that are both professional and profoundly relatable. Unlike traditional food styling that can look staged, my method ensures your final images are high-impact, trustworthy, and accurately reflect what your customers will receive, building crucial brand loyalty and desire. Quick Answers to Your Questions | Commercial Food Photographer

If you’re new to professional food photography, you probably have questions about pricing, preparation, and turnaround time. I’ve compiled the most common questions to help you get started quickly.

My pricing is based on a structured Day Rate or Half-Day Rate to ensure transparency and efficiency, especially for commercial food photographer projects. This includes my time on-site, travel within the East Midlands, professional equipment, and a set number of finalised, retouched images. For a detailed breakdown, please see my dedicated Pricing Page

While I always manage the food styling for a clean, natural, and authentic look, I recommend having a chef or kitchen assistant on standby. For complex advertising or packaging briefs, hiring a professional food stylist can be beneficial.

To ensure I can dedicate proper time to planning and delivery, I recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially for on-location restaurant shoots. However, if you have an urgent, smaller brief, please contact me, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.

My standard delivery time for the final, retouched images is typically 7 to 10 working days from the shoot date. This time allows for meticulous post-production, ensuring every image meets the high commercial standard required for your brand and marketing materials.

Absolutely. My service as a commercial food photographer is built on collaboration. During the brief stage, we will work together to develop a consistent, authentic visual style that seamlessly integrates with your marketing channels and reflects the quality of your product.
