Food Photography in London
601 Queen’s Road is a London wine bar with a food menu that earns its place alongside the wine list — steaks, schnitzels, fresh salads, and plates that are put together with real care. I was asked to photograph the food in a way that reflects that care, producing images for use across their website, menus, and social channels.
As well as the plated dishes, the brief included a set of kitchen shots — the chef at the pass, the environment behind the food. It’s the kind of content that adds depth to a restaurant’s story online, giving audiences a glimpse of the craft behind what arrives at the table. Shooting both elements on the same half-day kept things efficient and gave 601 Queen’s Road a cohesive set of images that works across multiple use cases.
